| You know what? Fuck it. This is the best episode of Gintama ever. Kagura literally says "Fuck you" in English, on a show aimed at teens. Only Japan could get away with this. So many classic moments in this episode, the Engrish in particular. That quick poster shot with Gintoki giving a gangsta pose, haha. The drowning evidence! They even parodied their infamous 'food/death note' episode. CrunchyrollFTW said: Very racist episode I kept my eyes open for any racism but didnt see any to be honest. Just a typical cartoonish perspective of foreigners, but nothing overtly racist to black people, or African Americans in this case. You could replace the black characters with German or whatever and it would remain mostly the same, the gangsta pose in the poster would go, but thats all I can think of. Am I wrong peeps? Naive? |

| Really funny. I didn't find it really racist, like someone else said, it would be funny with Germans too. But, anyways, when it's not harsh, I think racism should be taken as comedy because it releases the tension and seriousness of the issue :) Seita! I love Grave of the Fireflies :') 4/5 - Not the best, but interesting :) |

| I love flashback episodes and this was definitely a good one! I find it surprising that Gintama hasn't really had any yet... Next time i want to hear about Gintoki and Zura during the Amanto war, that would be amazing! ^^ The Engrish parts were a nice touch :D |

| I love how Gintama just doesn't seem to give a fuck what it does. I was shocked by the liberal use of "fuck" and "shit" throughout the episode. It was hilarious. Maybe my favorite moment is how the former members "left" Gintoki. |

I also liked how they changed the ending to the "Previous Yorozuya" but nevermind that, my most awaited arc will start next episode, hell yes!! It's not what I expected, but I know that it has to do with Kagura and maybe character development. I was not expecting it to be about a random pickpocket kid and his bodyguard?? Anyways so yes, Kagura focus arcs are the best, I just hope this is one! |

Why everytime when in anime appears black or white or yellow people everyone thinks about racism. Cmon people O.o this is MODERN era omfg no one thinks about this stupid thing anymore. we are all people no matter which color and everyone can make joke of everyones. personally EPIC episode !! XDD and also refernce to Beatnik's post ~ sorry but this is parody of what usualy teens in europe and america do, and here Kagura just made parody of it. and in almost every cartoon today for young kids you can hear almost in every episode words like 'FUCK' 'BICH' etc.. so I think your mentioning that thing here is totally not having any connection with showing propriate things on tv. x.x btw I miss Gintama really x...x can rewatch this so many times !! | That Black Dragon O-O and dat tried hard perfect engriish! LOL Are they actually parodying an anime that has pychoguns or is it just made up for Gintama? Shinpachi's predecessor Kanemaru o_o totally does not fit for yorozuya at all. Kanemaru's fuck you fuck you fuck you was so funny. XD And he could speak Japanese too lol. Gotta love them afros though! Loved those scenes of previous eps, the way they changed Shinpachi and Kagura to include Kagemaru and the other character to fill their positions was funny as hell. XD And they changed the ED song to include the old Yorozuya too. XD |

| Loved the scene where Kagura holds tangerines in her shirt to make her chest chest look bigger. Subtle (only realized it was a joke when one fell off). Subs got fucked up though. |

| This episode was awesome ! These memories with the old Yorozuya are totally crazy, I laughed so many times during the ending. A lot of references in this episode, I particularly liked the "City Hunter" one with "Get Wild", so nostalgic (^v^). My brother's preferred arc begins at the next episode, I'm so looking forward to watch it. |

| This was hilarious. Poor Gintoki. He liked them so much but he ended up third wheeling and getting abandoned. No wonder he's so sensitive about friendship and tries so hard to put distance with others. It was fairly cute though. New Yorozuya is far better. They actually care about the poor guy... There's been a lot of previous hints that Gintoki was actually a pretty lonely guy in the past. At least he has his new better friends. |
