Don't get me wrong people, Fl is beautiful but she is too weak! Forget about her abusive cohabiting partner but the fact that she can't even give a good slap and a good head whack on her own bully son, that tells me how weak of a mother she is. Sure a mother's love is a mother's love. All mothers love their children but sometimes giving kids a spanking, slap when they're already adult and rebellious and even tear their mouth if they speak ill to you that is a mother's LOVE also! The one thing I hate about family dramas like this is when people gather around watching, laughing, enjoying the victim of abuse got beaten to death instead of calling the police for a help. GRRRRR!

It is funny and does not make sense that all rich women in Chinese drama behave vulgarly ,shout, scream, and slap others which is not classy at all. Whereas poor women are modest, classy, and behave elegantly.
Pity Li Xuyuan was betrayed by her brother to end up being raped and pregnated by a monster who only abused her. Her son was also shamelessly abused by his wife. At least, Xuyuan was rewarded to meet her first love and together with her son started afresh happily. Good film!
Being older myself, I really wanted to like this story, but so far the FL is disappointing. That’s great that she has a talent, but not very high IQ. She couldn’t figure out her non marriage legal stuff out herself? Absolutely no self-worth. Wait, passing off a Van Gogh as her original work? 😂
So, yeah, NOPE!!!! I'm a Pollyanna by personality, but even I, having been assaulted in public by that scumbag of an ex-husband, would have taken the precaution of stationing security guards at the entrance of the art exhibition.... The ML should definitely have thought of this. And the scene at Mr Ji's place ... just call the police, woman! That arrogant former classmate has stolen your picture!!!
