Gosh beat me to it, jk. The previous episode and this one were pretty epic, and definitely serving as a great buildup to the first of hopefully many big fights. Im surprised by Yang Duanhe who is really proving to be quite well considering, our man Bi, and other elite characters in Zhengs crew. When she rallied her troops and they rose from being "dead" I was like wow and then shocked and amazed when they all managed to retaliate. The mountain folk are powerful indeed. I do wonder what new skills Xin will unleash, since Zuo Ci looks a bit stronger than Mutta. And if El Sei will get in on the action. Oh the comedy scene (wood hitting Xin was hilarious) |

Seeing Yuang Duanhe fighting was really nice. Zuo Ci will probably be harder to defeat than Muta, but even if they manage to do that, I doubt they'll get Seikyo. |
| Epic episode, but the fight scenes were a bit unbelievable. I wondered why the mountain folk people transfixed ba arrows had so suddenly arisen again. And doesn`t have Minister Jie&Co. 80000 armed people in town against 3000 armed mountain men? He must be an extremely bad strategist. |

I think in episode 10, it is explained that most soldiers are in several positions and why that El Sei and co want to win as soon as possible. | Lol, ta-da Shin says, impressive, although again I was just waiting for someone to shot an arrow his way. But it looks like the enemy do have range after all, just extremely limited. Didn't know weaponry technology didn't make it quite that far yet. A lot more impressive material this episode as well. The three guys on the horse and Shin's last insult were two wonderful moments. xD |

| Mixed feelings about this episode. Nice, but the fighting is somehow less interesting with the effects.. Yuang Duanhe is cool. |

| I knew they didn't die from the arrows! I mean c'mon, that one guy scaling the wall was stabbed in the back with three spears and he was alive and kicking. All too obvious a scheme, but shows how damn awesome the mountain folk are regardless. I absolutely love them! The mountain king still looks out of place; she looks like a gladiator. Plus she doesn't seem that much stronger than the rest of her forces. Oh well. Nice to see her take some action. Strategy would greatly improve the show, but I'm alright with it for now. I don't expect them to amaze me until Zheng is back on the throne and has his troops back. For now, I'm fine with seeing the awesomeness of the mountain people. Time to watch Xin get his ass whooped, then get back up and defeat Ci. Just like against the assassin. Anything else will (hopefully) be a pleasant surprise. |

| I just love how they quickly transitioned from a decent animation of the mountain king's swordfight debut to the usual crappy CGI of Xin in a blink of an eye. WTF srsly |
| These battle-shounen-esque fightscenes are kind of annoying. |
| Wait, so what happened to all the soldiers they were fighting in front of the gate? If they were able to defeat the soldiers just a few seconds after Xin jumped the wall then why the hell didn't they leave trying to open the gate after defeating the soldiers rather than trying to climb over the wall with the soldiers still alive lol. They tried to make that whole scene look dire when they were just being idiots about the situation. |

| It really got good in the last 2-3 episodes. Glad I stayed - though I still will progress only slowly in watching this. Too much other stuff to do. While the main is still kinda annoying a bit - and it feels too shounesque (like someone mentioned above) ... I like that we have more troop battles and other characters involved and not only "main char vs enemy of the week". I wonder how the other guy with the thick lips will get involved. |
| I've only just noticed it now but how come there's only male mountain warriors? Where are the women? I thought they'd be more inclusive considering their leader is a woman. Also, let me guess, Xin will obliterate that dude. |

| why didn't dude throw the spear at the minister instead of holding it? did they also not anticipate archery? and how many times are they going to say "now this is where the REAL fight begins"? the writing is majestic in an "oh wow isn't that particularly grotesque and sophmoric?" kind of way |
