An article about a movie that I rescued from a copyvio CSD, which I subsequently attempted to source without success. The work fails WP:NFILMS as I was unable to find substantive third-party coverage of the film itself or the award-winning story it is based on (or its author). Taking to AFD since the editors involved removed the CSD tags and the same will likely happen with a PROD. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 04:07, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Nominator Comment It should also be mentioned that the article was submitted to AFC and declined two months ago. The version there is essentially the same as the one that was tagged for CSD. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 04:11, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per nom. Cannot find reliable sources independent of the subject that establish notability. Per WP:NFF, "films that have already begun shooting, but have not yet been publicly released (theatres or video), should generally not have their own articles unless the production itself is notable per the notability guidelines." Speedy Delete G-12 Most of that article was copied from that website. --Ankit MaityTalkContribs 12:49, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Doesn't qualify for a G12, since I modified it substantially to prevent the G12. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 18:22, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Reply Oh yes. Oh yes. --Ankit MaityTalkContribs 12:13, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, no claim to notability. Hairhorn (talk) 03:37, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Incubate for now per WP:NFF and being far TOO SOON for an article on this film project. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 20:34, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]- Keep Since nomination, substantial improvements have been made. Slated for January 2013 release. This should, at the very least, satisfy the requirements of WP:GNG. If not kept, we should also think of Incubating/Userfying it. Such articles provide information to readers and serves the Project well... Why delete. Bonkers The Clown (Nonsensical Babble) 05:32, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Those are the same sources I found WP:BEFORE, they do nothing more than prove that the film exists. Certainly not that it is notable in any way shape or form. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 23:11, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Then you also would have found that it is slated for release next month. For topics seen as not currently meriting articles, deletion policy allows userfication or incubation to take them out of article space until notability is established. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 23:26, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Of course, anything is better than deletion. It was brought to AFD because it doesn't meet the article notability guidelines; I have no problem with the contents being userified. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 23:50, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Thank you. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 05:40, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Incubate. Changed my opinion based upon very recent improvements by User:Bonkers The Clown and believe it is sensible to incubate this for a few weeks. As this Belgium film is expected to have a release next month, we can allow it to be worked on out of mainspace until such time as WP:NF is better met.
